Rotary is one of the world’s largest and most successful global membership and humanitarian service organisations, with 1.4 million members in over 200 countries.

• Rotary is 1.4 million passionate individuals worldwide. We are both an international organisation and a local community leader. Together we lead change in our own communities and around the world.

• Since 1985, Rotary’s key humanitarian priority has been to rid the world of polio. Rotary spearheaded the campaign at a time when there were over 1,000 cases a day in 125 countries, paralysing and even killing children. Today, the number of cases is down by 99.9%.

• Joining Rotary, either directly or through your local club, gives you the platform to make a difference through volunteering. If you’ve got a cause you’re passionate about, or a project you want to get off the ground, Rotary is the place to turn your ideas into action.

• If you’re a young person looking to broaden your horizons and experience new things, there are so many opportunities for young people to get involved with.
